I'm Anas Kaddoura. I build and maintain Robomixes — twenty years in enterprise software, currently Project Director & Solutions Architect at a French hospitality software vendor.
The day job
Enterprise retail and hospitality systems: POS platforms, inventory, receiving, and ERP integration. Two of those have been ground-up POS platform replacements rather than upgrades — one across Azadea Group's retail estate of more than 1,000 stores and 50+ brands operating in 15 countries, and one for a hospitality vendor whose platform now runs across more than 1,000 hotels and 200+ restaurants.
That work is mostly about the parts nobody demos: reconciliation, failure modes, migration paths, and what happens on the night the estate cuts over.
Background
BSc in Computer Engineering and an MBA, both from Lebanese International University.
That combination matters more than it sounds. On an estate replacement the hard question is rarely whether something can be built — it is whether to rebuild at all: what it costs, what it puts at risk, what the business gives up while it is happening, and whether the thing being replaced is actually the problem. Answering that badly is more expensive than any technical mistake further down.
Why Robomixes exists
Robomixes is where that architecture experience meets physical hardware. I founded it, own its architecture, and specify, test and review every change that lands.
The point of the project is staying honest about what happens when systems meet hardware — limited compute, latency, and lighting conditions that break models working perfectly well on a desk. A steering model with good validation loss is not the same thing as a car that stays on the road.
Privora
Alongside the robotics work, I built Privora — an on-device encrypted toolkit published on Google Play, open source under AGPL-3.0, running a local LLM (Gemma 4) entirely on the handset. No cloud calls, no telemetry, nothing to opt out of.
